The Covenant

In order for us to be able to create a field of trust and sacredness that will allow each participant to show up fully and go as deep as they desire, each participant must agree to the following:

​

• I vow to be ready for our gathering by being there on time and bringing all materials needed for each workshop. (materials sent via email after booking)

 

• I vow to keep all information of this sacred group secret. All personal stories, sharing and vulnerability offered by others will be held with the utmost love and respect.

 

• I understand that the art of mask making is sacred and that all discoveries and creations made in this workshop are to be treated as a mode of discovery. I.e You will not come to the workshop with prepared ideas of what your mask will look like as it would defy the purpose of the course.

 

• If there is a moment where someone says something triggering, I, the participant, will take it upon myself to work through difficult emotions.
   

• I agree to not use my phone at any point during the workshop
   

• I agree to show up exactly as I am and remain open to growth even when it is difficult
   

• By participating in my (Jaclyn Martinez) workshop, you acknowledge that I am not a licensed psychologist, medical doctor, or health care professional and my services do not replace the care of psychologists, doctors or other healthcare professionals Additionally, any services, trainings, and other materials offered with this course has the potential to stir emotional or physical responses and/or stress. The objective of the services and offerings are educational, not psycho therapeutic in nature. If you have been treated for, or believe you may have suffered from a psychological and/or traumatic injury, please consider if you are in a position to safely engage with the service or offering at this time, and/or consider enlisting the support of a professional who can be a resource to you both during and after the course.

 

If you are not able to fully commit to these 7 Agreements, do not complete your registration.

I am attending or participating voluntarily in Embody (“the workshop” from here on out) and understand the risks associated with it.

 

I agree as follows:

​

i. To ASSUME all risks arising out of, associated with or related to my participation in the workshop

​

ii. To WAIVE all claims that I may have now or in the future against HOUSE OF JUNO (Jaclyn Martinez)

​

iii. To freely ACCEPT AND FULLY ASSUME all such risks and possibility of personal injury, death, property damage, expense, and related loss, including loss of income, resulting from my participation in the workshop

​

iv. To FOREVER RELEASE and INDEMNIFY HOUSE OF JUNO (Jaclyn Martinez) from any and all liability for any and all claims, demands, actions, damages (including direct, indirect, special and/or consequential), losses, actions, judgments, and costs (including legal fees) (collectively, the “Claims”) which I have or may have in the future, that might arise out of, result from, or relate to my participation in the workshop, even though such Claims may have been caused by any manner whatsoever, including but not limited to, the negligence, gross negligence, negligent rescue, omissions, carelessness, breach of contract and/or breach of any statutory duty of care of HOUSE OF JUNO (Jaclyn Martinez)

 

v. This release, waiver and indemnity agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by law in Canada and if any portion thereof is held invalid, the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.
